Our mission is very important in our community and Don Howard’s legacy lives on as these scholarships are assigned. The monetary gift inspires hope to those in recovery and actively supports their education dreams. This hope is real and contagious.
Kim Oliver, MSW

…my gift of sobriety has not only freed me from my dependence on alcohol and drugs, but my dependence on other things as well. I can be happy in the face of anything, provided I perform this work of recovery well.
Glenn Fuselier, Recipient November 2018 Award

Sobriety is truly a gift. I have been able to accomplish more in the going on four years of sobriety than the twelve years of drinking prior. I have a life now that I did not think was possible. I have a wife and two beautiful children whereas in my addiction I had only a bottle.
Ralph Jason Stonner, Recipient November, 2017
